With Direct Drain Connection
Simplify your espresso routine with a machine that is directly connected to a drain line. This will allow you to make numerous drinks without having to empty the drip tray between shots. Most home machines with this feature are switchable, meaning they can be used with a standard drip tray that has to be emptied, but can be direct connected to a drain if the user so desires. Most of the machines include the drain tube needed and alot of times that is all that is needed, but some machines like the Quick Mill Monza, require the purchase of an additional drain kit and a platform to raise the machine.
Most, if not all true commercial machines designed for coffee shops are direct drain connect only and are not designed with an easily removable drip tray. Even for mobile use, they are designed to drain to a grey water container vs having a removable drip tray.
