Latest Updates

  • Pump: to a rotary vane pump. Can be direct plumb or draw from a water tank, within 1 meter of the machine.
  • Circuit board: upgraded to a solid state relay. This is more efficient and increases temperature stability; maximizes power and increases steam capacity; heats up faster after power save/off; more commercially applicable, faster recovery time, increased ability for volume output and more stable temp.
  • Added internal power switch; safer, quicker, easier for repairs or emergencies.
  • Upgraded display: LCD no risk of burned in letters/numbers, longer life, adjustable brightness & touch sensors
  • Shot counter: one counter for lifetime of shots pulled on machine as well as a resettable shot counter.
  • PID algorithm: re-written, resulting in a dramatic increase in temperature stability and machine performance. These settings are now tuned and locked; in the past they were available to the end user to adjust, this is no longer necessary and the option has been removed from the menu.
  • Upgraded parts: water inlet changed from plastic to copper; upgraded composition of rubber on 3-way vent tube to alleviate oxidation and cracking; all solenoids are forged body to prevent any leaks as a result of bulging o-rings. Ultimately, these upgrades were made to reduce the cost of maintenance needed on the machine.
  • Reservoir Drip Tray: available as an accessory to the stock machine. 10 week production, just like other basic custom add-ons.

Detailed Review: We have had absolutely no problems with our Slayer! It is so easy to dial in and maintain. Everything is really direct and accessible. The pre-infusion setting to allow for a consistent and beautiful extraction is the best feature.

Returns Policy
We have a 60 day return policy (Starting November 24th, 2017) on espresso machines and grinders designed for home use (exceptions below). If you return within 30 days, you get a full refund minus shipping costs. If you return after 30 days, you get a store credit. Unlike our competitors – this is a 60 day trial period. Most competitors only allow 30 day returns if the product hasn’t been used. Many competitors will also charge expensive restocking fees if you read the fine print. The customer will receive a refund if the item is returned in like new condition, with all accessories that came with it, with all original, undamaged packaging, clean and packaged according to the specifications we provide. If the product is returned in this condition you will receive a full refund (or store credit if over 30 days) minus all shipping costs. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee as outlined in our terms and conditions if the product is not returned as specified above.

There are the following exceptions to the 60 day return period: La Cimbali Junior Casa, Vesuvius by Ambient, Quick Mill Andreja Profiles, Vibiemme Double Domobar V4, Rocket R60, Rancilio Epoca, parts, accessories and all products listed under the commercial business section, here For these exceptions all sales are final. See our terms and conditions for additional details.

Free shipping with most orders - you must be located in the lower 48 continuous states and there is a minimum order amount of $29. An exception to this is commercial espresso machines and espresso machines that require shipment on a pallet via Less Than a Truckload. This is sometimes included free, but contact us for details.

In stock items that ship via UPS usually ship within 1 to 2 business days. Heavier products such as commercial espresso machines are shipped via freight truck strapped to a pallet and it generally takes 1 to 3 business days to benchtest and arrange shipment. Transit times depend on the distance being shipped, but this map provides a general idea of shipment times in business days for items shipped via UPS. Freight truck shipment usually takes 3 to 8 business days depending on distance.

IMPORTANT: Water quality is a very important aspect of your espresso machine longevity. Water that is too hard will cause limescale buildup, which is the number one reason for operating problems. Too pure water, such as ultra pure RO water or distilled water can cause the machine to overfill, since the water level probe needs some minerals in the water to detect water. Use softened water that is about 50ppm in hardness. More info

PLEASE NOTE: Most machines and grinders are inspected for damage after being shipped from overseas. This means most boxes will have signs of being opened even though they are brand new products. This is done to ensure that the equipment made the international shipment in good condition and working order.

COMMERCIAL EQUIPMENT NOTE: Most commercial equipment ships on a pallet and has to be bench tested prior to shipment. For this reason, commercial equipment usually ships out three to five business days after the order is received. Some commercial equipment is also special order and/or has limited availability, so please check with us prior to placing an order. Check terms and conditions page for terms relating to commercial equipment.
