Pasquini has introduced the Livia G4 Full Automatic Espresso Machine with PID, it is the brilliantly updated, upgraded, rennovated and redesigned version of Pasquini’s Livia 90 which was a popular seller for over 15 years. This machine has an abundance of impressive features such as PID system, programmable volumetric dosing, actively heated grouphead and 1.5L stainless steel heat exchanging boiler. This unit is a fantastic fit for the budding espresso connoisseur.

This espresso machine is undeniably stylish and beautiful. The external body consists of high-quality stainless steel marked with the classy Pasquini logo. The body is easily removable to reveal the internal components allowing for easy cleaning and maintenance.

The PID system is one of the most desirable features on this unit. The PID, or proportional-integral-derivative controller, allows the user to monitor and control the temperature of the brew and steam. Temperatures can be adjusted in either Celsius or Fahrenheit with a range of 176-212 degrees. The temperature is visible on a digital display screen located on the front of the machine.

Dosing on this machine could not be simpler, the user has only to select one of three push buttons located within easy visualization on the front of the machine. Single or double shots as well as a manual dosing options are available.

One of the nicest updates Pasquini has made to this model is the addition of a singular thermostatically controlled heating element that is dedicated solely to servicing the grouphead. The prosumer will appreciate this feature as it provides more temperature stability and consistency as well as reduces brew times

Pasquini has redesigned the 1.5L boiler to be made of stainless steel for its anti-corrosion properties. The heat-exchanging properties allow the user to concurrently brew and steam to save time and efficiency. The heat-exchanger also allows for continuous extractions.  The auto-refill feature prevents the boiler from overheating due to low water levels, there is also a safety cut-off breaker to automatically shut off the machine if temperatures are too high.

This model is equipped with a generously-sized 92 ounce water tank. Pasquini has added a mechanical pressure plate that can sense when the water level is getting low and can turn the power off to protect the heating element and motor.

This unit contains both a two-hole steam wand and a hot water valve. Both of these elements are controlled with joystick-style levers. To release the steam, the user can either lock the lever upwards to deliver a constant steam or bump downwards to get momentary releases of steam. The hot water valve is similar in design, but the function does not allow for continuous release, only momentarily release. Pasquini has added internal insulation to the steam wand to prevent burning of fingers during use.

Included with this machine is a commercial-grade, chrome-plated, 58mm brass portafilter. The brass material alongside the dedicated grouphead heating element help to provide temperature stability and even heat distribution to provide a more consistent and flavorful extraction.

This machine offers a unique stair-step feature that allows more room for cups to be warmed on the top of the machine.
