What is the difference between the La Spaziale Dream, Dream T, Vivaldi II and Mini Vivaldi II?

12th Apr 2016

The difference between the Dream and the Dream T is as follows:

> The Dream is direct connect only. The Dream T is water tank only.

> The Dream has a rotary pump that allows it to be connected to a water line connection. The Dream T has a vibratory pump.

> The Dream has programmable passive preinfusion, the Dream T does not. You can purchase an optional addon for the Dream T that will allow it to have preinfusion, but it will not be programable.

> The Dream has a larger boiler. The Dream has a 2.5 liter boiler vs the Dream T that has a 1.2 liter boiler.

The difference between the Vivaldi II and the Mini Vivaldi II are as follows:

> The Vivaldi II is direct connect only. The Mini Vivaldi II is water tank only.

> The Vivaldi II has a rotary pump that allows it to be connected to a water line connection. The Mini Vivaldi II has a vibratory pump.

> The Vivaldi II has a larger boiler. The Vivaldi II has a 2.5 liter boiler vs the Mini Vivaldi II that has a 1.2 liter boiler.

> The Vivaldi II has passive programmable passive preinfusion from 1 to 8 seconds. The Mini Vivaldi II does not have built in preinfusion, but can have passive preinfusion with an optional preinfusion chamber add on. With the add on chamber, preinfusion time cannot be changed.

> The steam valve on the regular Vivaldi II is a rotating knob, whereas the Mini Vivaldi II has a lever with instant on / off.

The difference between the Dream line of machines and the Vivaldi line of machines:

The main difference between the machines are, the Dream has full PID control, more accurate temperature sensors, a redesigned brew boiler (water enters differently and the temp probe is placed differently providing better temperature consistency), a built in timer, shot counter, shot clock, full digital readout, and a lot of programming features. The Vivaldi II doesn't have these features and has less temperature accuracy (1 degree Celsius vs 1 degree Fehrenheit).
