Compak is a company that has been producing the top espresso grinders in the business for over 60 years. The Compak K10 Professional Barista Espresso Grinder is arguably one of the most prestigious commercial grinders on the market today and has made its presence known in barista competitions around the world. The features list has all of the necessary components required in a world class grinder and will produce the ultimate espresso grind. The K10 will delight the barista at home but can also deliver superior performance in the busy espresso bar or restaurant/cafe.

Built with professional quality, polished aluminum. The exterior appearance is not only solidly built, but has a modern, sleek style. Available in black or polished aluminum.

The K10 boasts micro-metrical stepless grinding adjustment which lets users control the final consistency of the grind from coarse to fine.

The K10 hosts powerful 58mm tempered steel conical grinding burrs. These speed demons can power through 35-39 pounds per hour of grinds. At such impressive speeds, a major concern of the barista is keeping the temperature of the motor cool enough to prevent any alterations to the taste of the roast. To combat heat build-up, Compak has included an electronic fan and a very low blade speed of only 400 RPM as well as a special gear reduction system.

Compak has equipped this model with a special competition doser. Grinding with a doser simply means the beans, after being ground, are temporarily stored and instantaneously available in an aluminum dosing chamber which can hold up to 300g of grinds (approximately 50 cups worth), this ensures precise, clump-less dosing. The doser is capped with a specially designed ergonomic cover. The dosing can be adjusted in increments from 5.5 – 9g.

Compak has integrated a very large clear plastic bean hopper capable of accommodating approximately 3.7 pounds/1.7 kg of coffee beans.

Running the show behind the scenes is the powerful 760 watt, 1hp direct drive motor which has overload protection and a special gear reduction system to allow for superior grinding performance without the excessive heat accumulation.

An exception to this is commercial espresso machines and espresso machines that require shipment on a pallet via Less Than a Truckload. This is sometimes included free, but contact us for details.

In stock items that ship via UPS usually ship within 1 to 2 business days. Heavier products such as commercial espresso machines are shipped via freight truck strapped to a pallet and it generally takes 1 to 3 business days to benchtest and arrange shipment. IMPORTANT: Water quality is a very important aspect of your espresso machine longevity. Water that is too hard will cause limescale buildup, which is the number one reason for operating problems. Too pure water, such as ultra pure RO water or distilled water can cause the machine to overfill, since the water level probe needs some minerals in the water to detect water. Use softened water that is about 50ppm in hardness. More info

PLEASE NOTE: Most machines and grinders are inspected for damage after being shipped from overseas. This means most boxes will have signs of being opened even though they are brand new products. This is done to ensure that the equipment made the international shipment in good condition and working order.

COMMERCIAL EQUIPMENT NOTE: Most commercial equipment ships on a pallet and has to be bench tested prior to shipment. For this reason, commercial equipment usually ships out three to five business days after the order is received. Some commercial equipment is also special order and/or has limited availability, so please check with us prior to placing an order. Check terms and conditions page for terms relating to commercial equipment.
