Pasquini is a company with a respected name in the coffee industry. They have discontinued their extremely successful Livia 90 which satisfied customers for over 15 years. Pasquini made some revolutionary, innovative updates and introduced their new line of Livia G4 espresso machines. There are three options within the Livia G4 line, full automatic with PID, semi-automatic with PID and semi-automatic. The Livia G4 semi-automatic is on the low end of the line but for the price it offers many advanced features including a high-end 100% stainless steel body, actively heated grouphead, a large stainless steel HX boiler and many others.
HIGH-END STAINLESS STEEL DESIGN WITH EASY ACCESS TO INTERNAL COMPONENTS
The body of this beautiful machine is constructed of high-end, 100% stainless steel. Ornamenting this machine is the elegant Pasquini logo. This machine is guaranteed to add a new level of class to your kitchen. The body is easily removable so the user can access the internal parts for adjustments and maintenance.
SEMI-AUTOMATIC DOSING WITH ON-AND-OFF SWITCH
Dosing an espresso could not be easier, during the extraction the user only needs to press the rocker switch on or off to stop and start the extraction.
GROUPHEAD WITH DEDICATED HEATING ELEMENT
One of the most impressive features Pasquini has added to this line of machines is the dedicated heating element for the grouphead that enables optimal heat consistency and reduced brew times.
HEAT EXCHANGING, FULLY PLATED, STAINLESS STEEL BOILER
Pasquini has replaced the old copper boiler with new stainless steel material for its anti-corrosive properties. The generously-sized 1.5L capacity boiler offers heat exchanging technology, allowing coffee lovers to steam and brew at the same time! A necessary feature to reduce the time required to make the perfect espresso drink. This boiler also contains an auto-refill feature that will prevent overheating of the motor due to low water levels. The safety cut-off breaker also ensures long motor life as it cuts the machine off if overheating occurs.
WATER RESERVOIR WITH PRESSURE-SENSITIVE LOW WATER SENSOR
Inside of the large 92 ounce water reservoir is a low water sensor that is able to deactivate the machine if the water levels are too low to operate safely, saving the motor from damage.
STEAMING WAND AND HOT WATER VALVE WITH JOYSTICK-STYLE LEVER CONTROLS
Both the steam wand and hot water valve are operated with joystick-style levers. The 2-hole tip steam wand is insulated internally to protect against burns and is capable of releasing constant steam (by locking the lever up), or manual spurts of steam by manually pushing the lever down. The hot water valve can only deliver manual doses of water by pressing lever. Both are constructed on ball joints to allow for optimal movement.
COMMERCIAL-GRADE, CHROME-PLATED, BRASS PORTAFILTER
The 58mm, chrome-plated, brass construction of the commercial-grade portfilter allows for better temperature stability and heat distribution.
TWO CUP WARMING SURFACES
Any prosumer can testify of the importance of maintaining consistent temperature to deliver the best, most flavorful brew. Part of this process can be optimized by having a pre-warmed espresso cup. This unit delivers a unique stainless steel, two-surface cup warmer for increased warming surface.
