Caedo E37S vs Compak E8 Grinder Comparison

  • Both grinders have 83mm flat burrs
  • At 730 watts, the motor output of the Compak E8 is 330 watts more than the motor output of the Caedo E37s 400 watts.
  • The Compak E8 a blade speed of 1325 RPM vs the Ceado E37S which has a blade speed of 1400. Lower is considered better.
  • The Ceado E37S has a steady lock quick adjustment system that makes it easier to dial in the grinder when compared to similar grinders with micrometrical grind adjustment, like the Compak E8 grinder.
  • On the Ceado E37S, accessing the burrs is quicker than on the Compak E8.
  • The Ceado E37S has a steady lock system that keeps the burrs apart at exactly the adjusted distance vs grinders like the Compak E8 can have greater variance due to heat dissipation and thermal expansion that can alter their distance. 
  • Both grinders are pretty quite during operation, but the Ceado may be a little quieter.
  • Both grinders are on the tall side when used with the tall hoppers, which can make it difficult to use in some home environments due to spacing under cabinets. An optional shorter hopper can be purchased for either though, so that will reduce to height.
  • The Ceado E37S has push button operation, vs the Compak E8 that has touch screen LCD operation.
  • The Compak E8 has an electronic fan that keeps the burrs cooler during continuous operation, the Ceado E37S does not have this.
